Media personality Precious Remmie Nakitto alias Ray P was reduced to tears in a recent media engagement while she was talking about her dear mother whom she said has been a victim of internet trolls.

“I posted pictures of my mother and some people said she is my grandmother. I don’t know why some people are stupid. Is it a bad thing to have a mother who has lived long? My mother is 74 and I’m happy she has managed to make it. How many people have their mothers?” she said tearfully.

“People who abuse my mother on social media, I will die with you. I have warned you before. You will get the rough side of me,” she added.

On September 8, 2022, Uganda’s parliament passed a law that criminalizes various uses of computers and digital technologies.
