Ugandan socialite Juliet Zawedde has introduced her new partner, Jonah Otim, just three months after her breakup with her baby daddy, Guiembert Aurelien.
Zawedde and Aurelien had been together for several years and had two children together. However, their relationship reportedly turned toxic, and Aurelien left Zawedde's home without informing her in 2022.
In November of that year, a phone call audio allegedly featuring Aurelien was shared online, in which he claimed that Zawedde had blocked him from accessing funds from their joint business. He also said that he had cut off all ties with Zawedde and only communicated with his children through Zoom.
Zawedde has not publicly commented on the reasons for her breakup with Aurelien. However, she has been very open about her new relationship with Otim on social media. In January, she gifted him a brand new Mercedes Benz AMG GLE 63 as a birthday present.
Otim is a familiar name to basketball enthusiasts in Uganda. He previously played for the Uganda Basketball League champions, City Oilers, alongside players like Stephen Omonyi, Ben Komakech, and Jimmy Enabu. After his time with City Oilers, Otim traveled to the US in pursuit of better opportunities, where he met Zawedde.
The couple has been dating for several months and seem very happy together. Zawedde has said that she is "very much in love" with Otim and that he is "the man of her dreams."
