Singer Mukiibi Sadat, better known by his stage name Kalifah AgaNaga, is on the verge of being imprisoned over an unpaid loan of 100 million Ugandan shillings (~$26,000).

Aganaga told the media that he and his colleagues took out the loan to start a shoe business in Kampala. However, one of the business partners disappeared after going to China to import shoes, leaving Aganaga to shoulder the debt on his own.

Aganaga said that he has been unable to repay the loan because he does not have a reliable source of income. He has granted the bank access to his YouTube channel in order to collect revenue, but the money has not been enough to cover the debt.

Aganaga said that he is facing the possibility of being imprisoned if he does not repay the loan. He is appealing to the public for help in raising the money.
