When Tamale Mirundi, the former political analyst, passed away a few weeks ago, his friend Isaac Katende, known as Kasuku, was flooded with condolences and financial support. The two had a close bond, and Mirundi had often granted Kasuku exclusive interviews.
Now, after Mirundi's burial, Kasuku has dropped a bombshell: he kept all the condolence money meant for Mirundi's family. Justifying his actions, Kasuku claimed that Mirundi was like a father to him, and he felt entitled to the money.
'People gave me money, it's true,' Kasuku said. 'But I decided to keep it because I considered Mirundi my dad. I didn't want Junior [Mirundi's son] to think he was the only one who lost a father. Muzeeyi Mirundi was my dad too.'
Despite this shocking revelation, Kasuku has remained tight-lipped about the exact amount of money he received.
