Rapper Gravity Omutujju, on Monday this week, was joined by fellow artists, politicians, and other stakeholders in bidding farewell to his mother at her final resting place.
Speaking during the ceremony, Gravity expressed regret over not fulfilling his mother's request before her death.
He explained that his mother had asked him for 5 million Ugandan shillings to invest in her shop, but he was unable to provide it due to financial difficulties after a concert flop.
"My mother called me recently, asking for 5 million Ugandan shillings to add capital to her shop. It was stressing her a lot, but I told her I didn’t have the money because my concert had flopped. It hurts me that she passed away without me fulfilling her request," he said.
Jane Kajoina, Gravity's mother, passed away in her sleep on Friday, October 18, 2024, after battling numerous health issues.
