Musician Grenade spent most of last year struggling with drug addiction, later experiencing severe depression. He was eventually admitted to rehabilitation this year with the help of Eddy Kenzo.
Grenade explained that his depression stemmed from a fallout with Jeff Kiiwa. After Kiiwa, the TNS boss, dismissed him and allegedly obstructed his music career, Grenade turned to substance abuse, eventually leading to depression.
"I went through a lot. I feared everyone, including myself, and faced severe depression caused by drugs and attacks from Jeff Kiiwa. I spent months consuming alcohol, filled with negative thoughts," he recounted.
The "Nkuloga" singer, however, says he will keep working hard to prove Kiiwa and his critics wrong.
