Musician Alien Skin was remanded to Luzira Prison last Thursday over allegations of phone theft. He is set to appear in court again on December 9 for the case hearing.
Eddy Kenzo, the President of Musicians in Uganda, revealed he is collaborating with Alien Skin’s legal team to secure his bail as soon as possible.
In an interview with a local television station, Kenzo expressed optimism about achieving a breakthrough by Monday to have Alien Skin released from jail.
"The most urgent issue now is securing his bail while discussions continue with the people he wronged to reach an amicable solution," Kenzo explained.
Reports, however, indicate that Alien Skin is expected to appear in Makindye Magistrates Court this Monday to answer charges related to an altercation with doctors at Nsambya Hospital.
