Rosemary Nankabirwa was battling a rare disease called adrenal Cortical Carcinoma ... caused by a cancerous growth in the adrenal cortex. She was flown to Kenya yesterday night to receive special treatment but unfortunately, she didn't beat the deadly disease. She's gone back home.
Celebrities gathered yesterday at Kampala Serena hotel where they contributed money to help transfer Ms Nankabirwa for treatment at Agakhan Hospital in Nairobi. See the photos from the car wash event dubbed #SaveRosemary here.
Her death has shocked everyone because there seemed to be a chance for her to be saved. This sad news follows the deplorable death of a legendary news personality, Bbale Francis, who passed away this same month, about 10 days ago.
