Police recovered the bullets on Sunday morning after receiving a tip-off from Kakaire’s house help who saw an army green arm chest jacket that had been abandoned beside their house.
According to the Kiira region police spokesperson James Mubi, the househelp immediately alerted officers at Wanyange police post.
Detectives deployed police canines to trace the person who abandoned the ammunition in vain.
She noted that Kakaire is not always around and they do not have any armed guards within their premises.
Mubi says that a team of detectives is liaising with their counterparts from sister security organizations to establish the source of the live ammunition. Efforts are also underway to track down the suspects who are belie
