President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni - who has often chafed in the confines of his armored convoy was today photo’d chilling on Isingiro road in Kyeirumba Village.
We have been told that, Sevo stopped his convoy, pulled out a seat and sat on the Side of the road to make an urgent phone call.
While there His Excellency had an opportunity to talk to the local folk in the area who thanked the government for the tarmacked road among other things.
“On the way from Isingiro District where I had presided over the World Population Day celebrations yesterday, I stopped at Kyeirumba Village to make an urgent phone call and also had a brief chat with the residents. They thanked the government for tarmacking the road that connects Uganda to Tanzania through Isingiro. The 74km road cost Shs178 billion. The residents also asked that government engages solar panel distributors to reduce cost. We shall follow up on this.”—H.E Museveni
