After taking a one-year break, Miss Uganda has returned with the much-anticipated hype.
News reaching our desk indicates that the beauty pageant announced a new twist that will see the public get more involved in choosing the next beauty queen among the many that will be selected from different regions of the country.
Through a partnership with Talent Africa, Kampala Sheraton Hotel and NBS TV, Kezzi Entertainment, the franchise holder of the Miss World Pageant for Uganda announced on Monday that they are turning the beauty pageant into a reality TV-style show that will air on NBS TV.
The Peagant CEO, Brenda Nanyonjo told Howwe that, "This is a national pageant and we want the public to get more involved. The public will be able to follow all developments about Miss Uganda in a reality TV style show so that they can know the contestants better and watch their transformation leading up to the finale.The public will also choose contestants who will be evicted during the boot camp."
The grand finale will be held on 10th August 2018.
