Musician Sama Soja has struggled to make a name for himself over the years. He only started getting noticed after joining Swangz Avenue despite his immense talent.
Sama told the reporter that his delayed growth is a result of his negative attitude towards giving tokens to media.
“I thought my talent was going to speak for itself, but I have since learned that things are different here. No one can make it without paying DJs, producers, and the media people,” he said in an interview
He advised young artists to be generous with their money.
“Once you make a song, you should have a budget to give to the media. Otherwise, the song won’t go anywhere,” she added.
It should be noted that Jeff Kiwa acts as Sama Sojah's manager but he is still signed to RedZone music. He is accountable to the record label boss known as Melo, who facilitates all his music activities while Jeff Kiwa guides on projects, bookings, and PR.
