Upcoming musician Jowy Landa recently shared her unique journey of how she stumbled into the world of music.
Contrary to planned aspirations, Landa confessed that her entry into music was quite accidental, describing it as a mistake that turned into a learning adventure.
Landa revealed that she initially started as a backup artist for various musicians while still young. It was during these collaborations that she found herself in the recording studio, crafting her own songs, and discovering her passion for singing.
Her official debut in the music scene came in 2019 when she was introduced to the industry by Francis, who was then managing Fresh Kid. However, Landa felt that she wasn't given the necessary time and support as an emerging artist, which led to initial struggles and uncertainties about her future in music.
The turning point in her career came in 2023 when DJ Roja took her under his wing as her new manager. This decision rejuvenated her determination, especially after contemplating leaving the music scene altogether.
Landa acknowledged that her entry into the industry was lighthearted initially, believing it would be a smooth journey to success. However, reality proved to be quite different as she faced challenges and setbacks along the way.
Currently managed by both DJ Roja and Jeff Kiwa, Landa continues to navigate her way through the competitive music landscape.
Despite not yet scoring a hit song, she remains active in collaborations with various artists and is a member of the TNS girl group "The 6 killaz."
“I joined the music industry by mistake. I used to back up upcoming artists, and then I found myself in the studio,” she candidly admitted.
