King Saha has been agitating for change in the government of Uganda for as long as we can remember. This year, he even went ahead and recorded songs calling out injustices in the country.

Not only him, but Azawi over the weekend castigated fellow musicians for not joining Ugandans in the fight against corruption.

"Eddy Kenzo, Chameleon, Bebe Cool, Winnie Nwagi, Vinka, Gravity, Mesach, Lutaaya, ‘Lwaki musilise,’ why are you quiet when things are not going well in this country?" she said during an X Space over the weekend.

She also attacked leaders for stealing endlessly from Ugandan citizens.

"Our leaders have stolen everything from us. I think if it were possible, they would even steal our youthful age from us," she added.

The message from Azawi and King Saha has received much praise from NUP President Bobi Wine. He expressed his happiness to them and acknowledged their roles in simplifying the message to Ugandans.

“I am very happy about artists like King Saha, Azawi, and many others who have made it very easy for the common person to understand, and with time, I see the two sides bonding and acting together,” Bobi Wine said during an X Space over the weekend.
