Musician Edirisa Musuuza, aka Eddy Kenzo, has opened up about the emotional toll of his role as the President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF). The singer revealed that he sometimes feels like giving up on the leadership of the federation.
Speaking during the Jam Session on Tuesday this week, Kenzo explained that critics of the federation have made significant efforts to undermine his work, even making him consider stepping down from its leadership.
"At times, I just feel like giving up because of the negative comments I receive, even from fellow musicians who are in this together with me. But then I remember those who believe in what we are doing, and I go back to the drawing board to remind myself why we started," he said in part.
However, Kenzo says he will not give up on the leadership and will continue pursuing the copyright law.
