Azawi, the talented singer from Swangz Avenue, has opened up about why she's been keeping a low profile in media interviews.
She shared that her first TV appearance this year was just yesterday on NTV Uganda, and she was thrilled to finally connect with her fans again.
Back when she was starting out, her management encouraged her to do as many interviews as possible to introduce herself to the public. And it worked! She quickly gained a loyal following that's been supporting her for the past three years.
“I guess this is my first TV interview this year. I don’t like appearing on TV without having something meaningful to discuss or something important to share with my fans. Ugandans already know that I can be a great artist, so there’s no point for me to prove myself,” Azawi Official
Now, Azawi feels she's proven herself as an artist. She believes that it's more meaningful to appear in the media only when she has something exciting to share, like a new song or project.
So, while we might not see her on TV as often, we can look forward to those special moments when she graces our screens with her talent and insights.
