Big Brother Africa 2014 finalist, Tayo Faniran will replace recently married actor, Gbenro Ajibade on the popular sitcom, Tinsel. Tayo will play the role of Soji Bankole, a photographer who who is one of the lead characters in the series.
According to a statement by African Magic, the change is for a temporary period which was made because Gbenro Ajibade is on honeymoon with his wife. ‘A major and exciting change is coming to the cast of Tinsel, Africa’s most successful day time soap opera. From the 17th of August, 2015, Big Brother Africa star, Tayo Faniran, will be playing the role of Soji, temporarily replacing Gbenro Ajibade.
This temporary change comes as Gbenro is away on honeymoon,’ the statement reads.
Gbenro Ajibade got married to actress, Osas Ighodaro who he met on the Tinsel set on Saturday, July 4, 2015.
