South African based Shaffic Katumba commonly known as Katsha De Bank was yesterday evening presented in Court to answer cases charged against him by South African authorities regarding fraud
However, news reaching us indicates that his other colleague that he was arrested with Ddumba Adams has been released.
Ddumba was charged with vehicle theft and the accused stolen car, the Lamborghini has been taken by the police. We have also learnt that he paid a fine of R60, 000 and also sold off his golf car to cover-up with that money and other bribes.
Meanwhile, Katsha is still remanded at to the Central State Correction Penitentiary of Johannesburg and he will be back in court on Friday.
The sources further indicate that according to the gravity of the offence, Katsha may be sentenced to 10 years in prison in a sensitive corruption-stricken country.
