Struggling musician Sasha Brighton separated with socialite Herbert Shonga who doubled as her manager.
Their bitter split was littered all over social media and she has been trying to pick up the pieces.
Talking about her experience, she cautioned other artists not to date their music manager because it eventually kills talent since the romantic affair often needs more time than music.
She confirmed she will never mix business with pleasure again.
"If you fail to work on your romantic relationship with your music manager, then even the music is bound to fail. In the end, the talent is buried in the chaos," she said in an interview on NBS after 5 when she was asked about her relationship with the former manager.
The singer is currently single, trying to concentrate on her music career.
