Gospel singer Evelyn Lagu has more troubles to deal with other than her illness.
The singer has found herself in a pool of debts after the concert which was slated for June 2nd at Muganzi Lwaza rooftop, Katwe got canceled due to misunderstandings with the venue owner, who claimed wasn’t aware of the show.
After the police called off the event dubbed "An evening with Evelyn Dinner Concert", she collapsed after hearing the sad news.
She is currently admitted to Kirudu hospital where is receiving medical care. She says she borrowed money to organize the concert, but she doesn't know how to pay back the loans.
“The landlord ruined my show. It was a huge blow. The news of canceling my show almost killed me. I am grateful that I am still alive only that now I have huge debts to pay. I pray that we organize another concert shortly,” Evelyn Lagu explains her current woes.
Evelyn Lagu has been unhealthy for almost four years. She battles kidney and heart complications.
