Musician Nina Roz, despite being a close friend of Sheebah Karungi, says she was also challenged by Cindy's determination.
The battle inspired her to work harder every day, with the hope that one day she can also go head-to-head with another artist.
She believes the battle was proof of hard work and determination, marking a turning point in the Ugandan music industry, showing that women are ready to take the lead.
"Cindy performed just as well as Sheebah, and as a female musician, I felt inspired and challenged to achieve more in the industry. I think the battle opened our eyes as female musicians in the industry."
The Cindy and Sheebah battle was the first female music battle organized in Uganda.
