Musician Irene Ntale last staged a concert in 2017 after leaving Swangz Avenue. The concert, dubbed "Unchained," marked the beginning of her solo career.
The singer has since revealed her intention to stage another concert this year, saying it will happen if her preparations go according to plan.
However, she couldn't reveal the date or venue, explaining that there are a few technicalities she is still working through.
"I really wanted it this year. I wanted that experience, but I'm not sure at the moment. But I will be communicating on my social media. I would really love to have it this year, but if it doesn't happen this year, it will definitely happen next year," she responded to a journalist's question about whether she would be staging a concert this year.
Irene Ntale has been relatively quiet on the Ugandan showbiz scene while in the studio working on new music projects.
A few weeks ago, she released a new song titled "Kampala," which she is currently promoting.
