Earlier this month, Ava Peace teamed up with Fik Gaza and dropped a remix of her song Muziki.
The song is enjoying massive airplay and dominating online charts.
It even received a boost after Jamaican singer Vybz Kartel recently shared a snippet of it on his Instagram.
Ava Peace now says that Fik Gaza requested the collaboration. He heard the song and expressed interest in redoing it with her, which she gladly accepted.
"Fik Gaza contacted me before and asked me to do a remix of the song. So I talked to my management, who contacted him, and he came through. That's how we dropped the song," she explained.
The song features a banner celebrating Vybz Kartel's release from prison.
