Dancehall musician Zex Bilangi langi believes Ugandan artists are not taking time in the studio and end up releasing bogus music.

The singer explained that the music in the industry at the moment lacks inspiration for the young generation. They cannot be inspired to create better songs.

The Firebase singer, however, says that personally, he is doing better musically because he takes his time in the studio. He doesn't rush when working on a music project.

"Individually, I do good music because I take my time before I release a song. The other thing is that we no longer create music that inspires the youth," he explained in an interview with a local television station.

Zex Bilangi langi also says most of the artists in the industry are going through depression because of the struggles and financial difficulties.

"Most of the people in the industry are depressed because of different things," he added.
