Police in Hoima have in custody three angels of death for allegedly killing 30-year-old Fred Bigirwa, a resident of Buhimba East village in Buhimba sub-county.
The dark angels have been identified as Julius Tumwesigye, Abdul Busoboza and another only identified as Kazungu, all residents of Buhimba East village.
The Officer in charge of Buhimba Police Post Bernard Egesa says the suspects together with others still at large are believed to have strangled Bigirwa to death in the wee hours of December 31st, 2017.
They later dumped his body on the roadside on the village. He says the suspects went into hiding until on Monday when they were apprehended.
According to Egesa, the suspects decided to strangle Bigirwa to death after failing to pay him Shillings 20,000 they owed him. The suspects are being held at Hoima Central police station following their transfer from Buhimba police post on Tuesday.
Egesa says they have launched a manhunt for the remaining suspects to answer for murder.
