President Yoweri Museveni is in Sudan for a meeting on peace agreement in South Sudan.

The president left this afternoon. He was seen off at Entebbe International Airport by the minister for presidency, Hon. Esther Mbayo, head of public service, John Mitala, chief of defence forces, Ge. David Muhoozi, commissioner general prisons, Dr. Johnson Byabashaija and Deputy Inspector General of police, Brig. Sabiiti Muzeei.

Prior to his departure, Mr. Museveni met with his South African counterpart, Cyril Ramaphosa who has been in the country since Friday, for his son’s traditional marriage. President Museveni met the South African leader at the airport wishing him a safe return home. 

Mr. Ramaphosa and his delegation would later be seen off by Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda, former Prime Minister John Patrick Amama Mbabazi and his wife Jacqueline Mbabazi.
