Vincent Kayanja De’ Paul the Entebbe Municipality Mayor survived death this morning when his car was involved in an accident along the Entebbe – Kampala Expressway on Wednesday morning.
Eye witnesses say Kayanja’s vehicle swerved off the road after a tyre burst and overturned more than three times towards Kajjansi junction along the Expressway. The vehicle had four people on board.
According to Michael Kakembo Democratic Party Vice Chairperson for Entebbe Municipality, all the victims were rushed to Doctors Clinic for emergency treatment and first aid.
Obadia Ssewanyana, the Officer in charge of Traffic at Entebbe Police Station urged all road users in Entebbe to ensure that the vehicles are in good mechanical conditions before setting off for a journey.
