Residents of Kidooma Parish in Kikuu district have embarked on a search for the body of a 16-year-old boy who drowned in River Wambabya.
The deceased is identified as Daniel Sunday a P.6 Pupil at God Provides Primary school who drowned on Wednesday evening when he went swimming alongside nine of his friends.
According to Deus Bashabonwe the Kidooma parish Councillor, although the deceased’s colleagues rushed and alerted the area residents about the incident, it was too late to save his life.
