The inspector General of Police Okoth Martin Ochola has made changes in Traffic management team, appointing CP Nuwabiine Lawrence as Ag Director Traffic and Road Safety.
Nuwabiine had been benched by former IGP Kale Kayihura, following a fallout but has been transferred to different departments under the regime of Ochola. He had been at the Human Resource Department.
In a police Transfer/Appointment message dated 29th December 2020 and sent to all Units & Directors, CP Nuwabiine replaces CP Mugisha Bazil who leaves Traffic & Road Safety to Human Resource Department.
Mugisha has been Ag Director Traffic and Road Safety since February 2020.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
