Musician Pius Mayanja, also known as Pallaso, is one of the biggest advocates for the amendment of copyright law in Uganda at the moment.
He has remained committed to demanding its amendment and has joined the UNMF to add his voice alongside other artists to see it go through.
The law, however, has not yet seen the light of day; they are still surviving on promises.
Pallaso now says that with the amendment of copyright law in Uganda, he would only need one hit song to change his life financially.
Pallaso explained that the money collected from royalties from online sites and other areas brings in a lot of finances for the artist.
"I would need one song to change my life if copyright law is amended. Artists have money, and it's there in royalties through different online sites and streams, but it doesn't reach us because of the system," he explained.
Pallaso appealed to the government to work tirelessly to see the amendment of copyright law for the good of artists.
