Two people have been killed in an accident that happened at about 0820/c on Thursday morning at Kabusu junction.
The accident involved motor vehicle Reg No UAW 545P (Fuso fighter) and a motorcycle (Bajaj) No UDU 476J, killing the two people on spot and seriously injuring one other.
ASP Faridah Nampiima the PRO Traffic and Road Safety identified the deceased as the Fuso driver Chellengat Enoth, a 31-year-old resident of Kapchorwa and the motorcycle rider whose identity has not yet been established.
She adds that Bridget Chemutai, a 22 year old wife of the Chellengat was seriously injured. She is currently admitted at Mulago National Referral Hospital.
According to Nampiima, it is alleged that motor vehicle lost control from Rubaga Road and knocked the rider who was from Natete side.
