President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is in Dar-el-Salaam, Tanzania for the 17th Extra-ordinary Summit of the East African Community slated for today 8th September 2016.
Ahead of the Summit, President Museveni was received and held a meeting with the host H.E John. P Magufuli at State House, Dar el salaam.
The two day extraordinary summit of the East African community, will among other deliberations, receive and discuss a report on the dialogue in Burundi and the security situation there and also discuss a report on South Sudan.
South Sudan president Salvar Kirr is attending the summit for the first time after the world’s youngest country obtained full membership to the East African Community on Monday this week.
