Rumours reaching our desk indicate that Club beer's annual Mega fest show will this year feature Sauti Soul as the main act. The group from the neighboring Kenya will for the second time entertain Uganda party animals on the 15th of August at Legends Rugby grounds in Lugogo.
Some of the so far confirmed few Ugandan stars that will also grace the show include comedian Salvado who will be the Mcee, legendary disc spinner Shiru and Ape-man.
Uganda Nile Breweries through their Main product Club pilsner launched a musical Festival dubbed ‘Mega fest’ in 2014, which took place at the National Football ground Namboole that saw the acts of Burna Buoy from Nigeria, Mafikizoolo from South Africa and Jamaica's Queen Patra and legendary Shaggy grace the event.
In 2015, club Pilsner thought it wise and launched regional madness which kick started in Jinja where the Sanko star Timaya from Nigeria exhibited great performance skills.
This was extend to Masaka, with former Brick and Lace star Nyanda in the same year 2015 who undoubtedly wowed the 'Nsenene' town leaving the Matooke farmers yarning for more.
