Uganda’s Award winning deejay, DJ Roja is now walking with his collars raised after surviving rotting in jail over accusation that he became a public nuisance!
Our snoops have received information that on Wednesday night Roja was picked up like a grasshopper, arrested at Laftaz Comedy Lounge over noise pollution by police.
It is said Roja was playing music at Laftaz when armed policemen stormed the Centenary Park-based nightspot, walked straight to the deejay box, stopped the music, picked him like a chicken thief as revelers watched the deejay being taken away.
DJ Roja was taken to CPS but was released hours later after Laftaz Comedy Lounge boss, Kyeyo arrived at the station handling the matter in police language (Read, Bribe).
