As you read this, the medical bills of producer Danz Kumapesa have finally been settled. There has been a rumour circulating that organizers swindled all money that was collected from the charity concert that was held at Calendar hotel in Makindye on Sunday.
Singer Edirisa Musuza commonly referred to as Eddie Kenzo paid the remaining balance of Shs 1.8m to hospital.
Danz Kumapesa has been at Nsambya hospital since May after being beaten by unknown goons that invaded his house in the night.
On the 1st of June, a car wash dubbed ‘Danz Kumapesa’ was held at Panamera and the organizers collected Shs 7m but the hospital bill was Shs 28m.
Singer Bebe Cool came up with 5M challenge where he argued fellow artistes and stakeholders like Bobi Wine, Chameleone, Uprs chairman, Balaam and KT to come on board. Bebe paid 5m, Uprs 3m and the other didn't care.
Recently a charity concert was organized where top artistes entertained fans at Calendar house in Makindye but only 1.5m was delivered. Over 1000 revellers attended the concert.
