At the Miss Uganda grand finale, there was a scuffle between Zari Hassan and Anitah Fabiola.
This is after Anitah Fabiola refered to Zari as “Maama” something that did not go well with the mother of 5 who felt it was an insult because the term is often linked to old age.
The Miss Uganda C.E.O Brenda Nanyonjo has for the first time come out to have a say on the feud between Zari Hassan and Fabiola.
According to Brenda Nanyonjo, Fabiola did not insult Zari as many claim.
“All the beauty queens that have taken part in Miss Uganda call me Maama as a way of showing respect. Fabiola refered to me not Zari," she said during an interview with comedian Emmah Napoleone at the just launched 'Just Comedy' show.
She also asked Ugandans to support new Miss Uganda, Oliver Nakakande as she prepares for Miss World grand finale in London come December 2019.
