Mbarara's top hardware dealer Apollo Muhumuza commonly known as Balya can smile again after reclaiming his Balya Mall located along Amahembe g'Ente roundabout, Mbarara-Masaka road.
He had been evicted from the multi billion Mall by Orient Bank over a debt of Shs 9Bn.
While talking to our snoop on ground, Balya confirmed that they are operating but he is not yet ready to give a comment.
“Yes we are operating but wait for the matters to first settle. I will let you know,” he said.
Reports say Balya had a fruitful meeting with the bank management and they agreed that he would clear the loan in few months.
