Musician Alien Skin appeared in court on Monday and was remanded to Luzira Prison until November 28th.
The singer, who was charged with robbery and assault related to an incident at Nsambya Hospital, has prompted his mother to appeal to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for his release.
She described the "Sitya Danger" hitmaker as the family's sole breadwinner and claimed he had learned his lesson.
“He provides for me, and I have no one else to depend on. I beg the President to intervene and have him released. He has been punished and won’t repeat his mistakes,” she said in an interview.
Alien Skin was arrested last week on charges stemming from the alleged incident.
