
TikTok star and now singer Uncle Chumi has opened up about her difficult past with comedian Reign, of the duo "Maulana and Reign."
In an interview with a local television station, Uncle Chumi revealed that she was friends with Reign before his breakthrough. He was struggling financially, and she often helped him get food.
Chumi explained that, at the time, she was living with her grandmother, and she would take some of her grandmother's money to give to Reign.
"Reign and I were good friends. He was struggling financially, so I used to give him money. I was staying with my grandmother, and I would give Reign part of the money I took from her. He used to wear a single, checkered shirt," she explained.
Chumi also revealed that she once pursued a comedy career and performed alongside Willy Mukaabya at Bat Valley Theatre in Kampala.
