A Liverpool supporter has reportedly been stabbed to death in Kenya, following the club's 5-1 win over Arsenal on Saturday.
The incident took place outside Marete's bar in Meru town, where a Gunners fan allegedly carried out the attack, according to AllAfrica.com.
The victim - named locally as Anthony Mutheia - was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, although he died shortly afterwards due to the injury sustained.
The police have named the offender as David Mwangi. He was reportedly seen riding a motorcycle before the match and locals handed it in to officers after he ran away from the scene.
According to reports in the country, a manhunt is underway.
Witnesses claim the two men started arguing during the game, with Mutheia reportedly gloating over his side's domination before the situation became heated outside of the bar at full-time.
Police say they are still carrying out investigations into the incident.
Kenyan media outlet Standard Digital reported that it is the second time this season that a football fan has died after a disappointing result.
