Residents of Mbarara ardently joined in the ongoing ‘Save Carol’ campaign to raise funds needed for the treatment of cancer patient Carol Atuhairwe, in the United States.
Last Saturday saw lots of individuals and companies gather at De Boss Pub located in Rwebikoona-Mbarara to participate in the #Save Carol car wash Mbarara edition. However the most captivating were the little children who relentlessly participated in the benevolent act.
Kulaije Hillary the Regional Police Commander Western Region who was the Chief Car washer joined the rest as different vehicles were washed.
According to Chano8, bikes were washed for 5,000 shillings and cars 30,000. Vincent Kyamutetera the chief organiser for the Save Carol drive said he will be unveiling the final statement as regards to the Mbarara edition of the drive soon.
