Mukono Municipality Member of Parliament Betty Nambooze Bakireke left this morning for South Africa, for specialized diagnosis of a strange illness that has kept her down for three weeks, according to an online news portal Chimpreports.
It should be noted; Nambooze on June 13th collapsed in her house in Mokono town and was rushed to hospital with severe pain in the stomach.
She was later admitted at the Kampala Imaging Clinic for days but the medics were unable to pin down the exact cause of her sickness.
A few days ago, the outspoken politician was advised to proceed to South Africa to be scanned further and establish her illness.
Meanwhile, rumours have been going around that Nambooze was apparently poisoned. But we can’t confirm these reports.
