There is a huge difference between what makes a “father” and what makes a “dad.” A father is someone who believes that by donating his sperm for your creation, he has done his duty in life ... and apparently, that's all Winnie Nwagi's ex-boyfriend is to her beautiful daughter, Destiny.

While appearing on NTV's 'Mwasuze Mutya' about 5 months ago, Nwagi revealed that she broke up with Destiny's father because he ran off leaving her alone during her pregnancy.

“When I noticed I was pregnant, I was shocked and talked to my friends about it who gave me different advices including aborting. I couldn’t hold it and I told my boyfriend about it and he wasn’t happy at all, he also told me to abort a thing that I refused immediately and I told him if he wasn’t ready to be a father, to leave me alone.

He then disappeared and I was alone through my pregnancy, I started hustling doing all kind of jobs and after when I gave birth, he then came back pleading me to get back to him a thing that I denied and I told him we should only focus on raising our child”.

The Magic singer was hosted yesterday alongside Ray Signature and Leila Kayondo on Galaxy Fm's Big Bang show and was asked questions about her child and who caters for Destiny's studies to which she responded;

If he [Destiny's estranged father] wants to see her, he can come any time. But it's me who pays for my daughter's school fees not him.

Meanwhile, Winnie Nwagi also revealed that she would love to work with Ziza Bafana and Gravity Omutujju because she loves their style.

We hope they were listening.
