It might be over for Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks, according to multiple reports on Thursday.
E! News' sources claim that the couple, romantically linked since September 2011, had a mutual breakup, "but they still care very deeply for each other and will remain in each other's lives as friends."
A source also reportedly confirmed the split to Us Weekly, saying, "They are both upset. It just wasn't working out. It was a lot of travel and hard to work with their schedules."
Sparks and Derulo made their most recent public appearance at the 2014 MTV VMAs in late August. The "American Idol" alum also posted an Instagram photo of herself with Derulo at the gym on Sept. 8.
