Promising talent Kwesiga George commonly known as Quex has been off the music charts ever since he released the hit song, "Kachumbali"
The singer has now explained his silence, saying that he has been buried in books trying to finalize a bachelor's degree in medicine and surgery at Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi.
He said he will specialize in issues concerning the reproductive systems of women and girls.
“ I have been pursuing a degree in medicine and surgery and my graduation is in November,” the singer explained in an interview.
He added that he intends to juggle medical work and music in the future.
In media interviews, he revealed that he wrote the "Kachumbali" song in January 2019 and released it in February 2020. The audio had been making around, but people appreciated the song after a video was released during the lockdown in March 2020.
