Gospel musician Exodus recently made a revelation that he went through a string of emotional challenges that caused him depression.

Exodus said he felt dejected and betrayed by the church and some friends he thought were his ‘people’

To end his misery, Exodus, planned to take his own life on the 23rd of December 2018, according to his confession.

“I drunk a lot of alcohol and told myself that I would drive recklessly until I caused a deadly accident. That happened but I didn’t die. God gave me another chance to live,” he opened a lid on his past troubled life.

“It is during that time that I decided to evaluate myself and the decisions I was making. The madness stopped immediately. I could have died or ended in prison or something, but I am here and I have returned to the church,” Exodus explained more.

When he was young, Exodus left hustling on the streets and thought refuge in Pastor Robert Kayanja’s Miracle Centre Cathedral, where he faced several challenges. Many church choir members hated him and always blocked him from stepping onto the stage.
