Last week, NUP legislators defied their Party President, Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine who requested them to return Shs 40 million handshake.
The 48-hour- deadline passed on Sunday without any single NUP MP showing up with the money.
Gagamel Boss Bebe Cool has praised them for their action. He said the MPs have a lot of responsibilities to their constituents, and that money is just a drop in the ocean.
He also said that Bobi Wine is just jealous that they are also enjoying the money.
"Bobi Wine is just jealous and selfish. He gets so much money but still, he is not grateful. I support the members of Parliament who defied his orders," he said in an interview with a local YouTuber.
Sources within NUP divulged that the cash details have divided the party into camps.
