Musician-turned-politician Rachael Magoola has urged the Uganda Police to take action against musicians who perform in revealing outfits.
Speaking at an event on Wednesday at Fairway Hotel in Kampala, Magoola called on the government, through the police, to address indecent dressing among artists and the public.
"Musicians have normalized performing in indecent attire, exposing private parts. The police need to arrest these individuals," she said.
She added that the public has begun emulating these acts, which could have negative effects on communities.
The "Obagaina" hitmaker believes that curbing indecent dressing at public gatherings could help restore cultural values and positively influence the youth.
