Singer Fille Mutoni has openly stated that she would never share private videos with her former partner Edwin Katamba, also known as MC Kats. Various private videos have been circulating recently, involving individuals like Sheilah Gashumba, Rickman, Karma Bae, and Christine Nampeera.
Fille emphasized that throughout her 12-year relationship with NBS After 5 presenter MC Kats, she has never sent him explicit content, as they know each other well.
She cautioned women against creating such material, as it can be weaponized in the future.
Fille also advocated for protective legislation for women, as some videos are leaked vengefully, not by the women's consent.
The issue of sharing explicit videos has affected both high-profile and lesser-known individuals in Uganda's social media landscape.
“I have never sent such things to Katamba for all the years I have spent with him. Besides I don’t even have them in my phone. Women should desist from recording such things because it can be used against them. Some people usually use this as revenge when things go sour in a relationship. That’s why I also think a law should be enacted to protect women from such incidents,” the singer said.
