Recent allegations, sparked by gossip columnist Kasuku, suggested that Winnie Nwagi was not on good terms with the management at Swangz Avenue and was planning to leave the label.
Reports indicated that Nwagi had changed her management and that bookings were no longer going through Swangz.
She has since addressed these allegations and revealed that she is still signed to the label, which has nurtured her career for over ten years.
"When I was coming on stage, you, Mr. Henrie, introduced me as a Swangz Avenue artist. I’m still under Swangz Avenue,” she responded to a fan's question while performing at a city hangout.
Rumors of Nwagi quitting Swangz Avenue have circulated for years; however, it seems the label's management continues to have faith in her.
